Trying to achieve a cartoonish vintage style for this shot. Learned a couple of really nice tricks in Photoshop, totally worth the time put into it.

Today I was drawing a set of characters that a friend asked me to do for his startup. The italian cook is just one of them, I’ll post the rest in the following days.

This is my post for last Friday, unfortunately this drawing took so freaking long! I was trying to practice textures more than everything. Although it doesn’t look super awesome, I learned a lot while working on it. I felt a lot more confortable using Sketchbook Pro this time around. Check out bigger version here:

Today’s post, I’m experimenting painting with water color. Really like the effects that you can get with them, a lot more texture and color mixing colors is a lot of fun .
